Some might think that it is no big deal , but to me, I don't know why, I get exceptionally disappointed when what I baked did not come out as expected. Cupcakes look pretty, but to me texture and flavour matter more. I won't even want to take photos of pretty but not-awful-tasting cupcakes. Yes, not-awful isn't good enough. They must make me want to sink my primate jaws into them for multiple times.
Last night was definitely uplifting to me because I finally made something of acceptable standard...

Oh! I actually made a Salted Caramel version for my mum and she loves it. Maybe because she loves salted caramel! Filled one of these with salted caramel syrup I made two nights ago. Did I mention that I think saltiness enhances the flavour of chocolate?
